Working for a smaller, but well-respected engineering firm, you’ll play a key role in planning and designing innovative stormwater and transportation infrastructure that make a tangible impact in our communities. You’ll have direct access to Leaders and Principals for mentoring, as well as having your voice heard within the company.
Responsibilities Include:
- Review development and utility plans for compliance with municipal and state standards.
- Perform hydrologic and hydraulic modeling for stormwater systems and drainage infrastructure.
- Assist with planning and design of local roadways, resurfacing projects, and minor traffic improvements.
- Support permitting, construction plan development, and report preparation.
- Conduct field investigations related to system performance or environmental impacts.
- Prepare construction drawings, technical specifications, and supporting documents.
- Support economic and feasibility evaluations for public infrastructure projects.
- Ensure timely and effective execution of projects to meet client goals.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate will:
- Passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam
- Minimum of one year of experience in stormwater or transportation planning and design
- Registration as an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) in Georgia is preferred
- Demonstrate the ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment with minimal supervision.
- Possess strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Hold a current and valid driver’s license and have reliable transportation.
- Commit to adhering to safety procedures and guidelines at all times.

This position will be based in our Roswell office, serving clients throughout the Metro Atlanta region.

Working for a smaller, but well respected engineering firm, you will play a key role in planning and designing innovative water, wastewater, stormwater, environmental, and transportation infrastructure solutions that make a tangible impact in our communities. You will have direct access to Directors and Principals for mentoring and guidance, while also having your voice heard and your contributions recognized within the company.
Responsibilities Include:
- Review development plans for compliance with municipal and state standards associated with stormwater.
- Perform hydrologic and hydraulic modeling for stormwater systems. Experience using multiple software platforms is preferred but not required (i.e., Hydraflow, HEC-RAS, SWMM, ICPR).
- Plan and design stormwater systems including mass grading.
- Perform field investigations for environmental impacts associated with civil infrastructure projects.
- Conduct economic analyses for civil infrastructure projects to assess feasibility and cost-effectiveness.
- Prepare construction specifications, plans, and associated project documents.
- Ensure timely and effective project execution to meet client needs.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate will:
- Be a registered Professional Engineer in Georgia or able to obtain licensure within one year.
- Have a minimum of five years’ experience in water, wastewater, stormwater, or transportation planning or design.
- Demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment with minimal supervision.
- Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Have a current and valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Commit to adhering to safety procedures and guidelines at all times.
