PROJECT DESCRIPTION: 

Georgia Water and Environmental Services (GWES) scope of services included providing environmental permitting services for the completion of the Little River Water Reclamation Facility Watershed Protection Plan (WPP) and National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) General Permit, specific to its plant expansion. 

Newton County Water and Sewerage Authority was required by Georgia Environmental Protection Division (GAEPD) to create/update a Watershed Protection Plan. Georgia Water and Environmental Services (GWES) obtained data from various city departments to successfully update the WPP. The WWP required review of previous reports and permits, documentation of impaired waters, Best Management Practices (BMP) implementations, measurable goals, and schedules for inspections.
