PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
The Newton County Water and Sewerage Authority (the Authority) requested engineering and design services for a new 18” PVC gravity sewer line connecting at the existing Little River Influent Pump Station and ending at GA Hwy 278. GWES provided jurisdictional delineation services for approximately 22,000 LF from Little River IPS to Newton County line paralleling the Littler River following the preliminary corridor. Based on the approximate location of the wetlands, streams and associated buffers within the project corridor, GWES provided the engineering design and permitting services for approximately 12,900 LF of 18” PVC gravity sewer line, along with associated manholes, in accordance with the Authority’s gravity sewer standards regarding pipe material, minimum cover depth, manhole spacing, markers, alignments, etc.
